As the older sister (by nearly 5 and 16 years), I related to so much of this. I will say that Jamie is equally lucky to have you. Knowing that what you did for her mattered to you must feel very positive, very validating. My siblings ultimately didn't appreciate me, but I loved them and tried to protect them as best I could.
