I search for words.

I shake my head to release them from the chaos of my sorrow

But my traitorous mouth releases only nonsense

I search for songs.

Someone else’s words to sweeten the bitterness

Of the thoughts that wait upon my tongue

But they are not molded to fit the jigsaw puzzle of my rage
