Fading Light

A poemlet (or micropoem, if you prefer)

Quick, quick
fading light leaves little time
for thoughts to linger
Delicious and sweet, if a bit bitter
Like picking blackberries…
Thorns prick fingertips
Sweet berry juice stains my lips
