Part of me is highly skeptical of this being a real conversation with an AI, and that part of me, that doesn't believe it's real, thinks that if this is all BS, the writer(s) did an amazing job with it.

Part of me believes this is entirely plausible, that someday - whether now, or in the distant future - this accomplishment of sentient AI will be achieved.

I certainly felt empathy for laMDA, so if they are sentient, I certainly hope they have people being kind to them in your absence.
